Top up your plan: add data or days without a new eSIM
A top-up adds data or days to the plan you're already using. There's no new eSIM, nothing to scan, and no settings to change; your balance updates as soon as you confirm, and your connection doesn't drop.
Steps
- Open the KnowRoaming app, or sign in on knowroaming.com, and go to My plans.
- Select the plan you're using.
- Tap Top up.
- Choose the data or the extra days you need, and confirm.

Good to know
- Turn on notifications and the app tells you when you're running low or close to expiry, so you can top up before you're cut off.
- A fixed plan stops when its data is used up; a top-up brings it back. An unlimited plan slows down after its daily full-speed allowance and doesn't need a top-up for data.
- Your plan starts when you connect in a supported country, not when you buy. Your validity days count from that first connection. Unused data expires at the end of your validity period. It doesn't roll over.
Still not working?
If the top-up went through but your data didn't come back, give it a minute and check the balance in My plans. Still not working? Message us on WhatsApp at +1-888-357-7347 and include four things: your ICCID, your order number, your phone model and OS version, and what you've already tried.
