Satellite messaging: Does KnowRoaming support it?
Satellite messaging and SOS features are built into your phone's hardware and operating system, not into any carrier's plan. If your phone supports them (recent iPhones, and some Android models), they work independently of your KnowRoaming eSIM, including in places with no mobile coverage at all.

That makes them a good complement to a travel plan for remote destinations: your KnowRoaming eSIM handles everything in range of a network, and satellite covers emergencies beyond it. Check your phone maker's list of countries where satellite features are supported; it's set by them, not by us.
Once you know where you are headed, choose a plan for your destination, the eSIM itself only needs adding once.
