What happens to my home phone number while traveling?
Nothing. It keeps working as it always has. Your plan is data only, with no phone number, calls, or SMS. Calls and texts keep using your home number. Your home line sits on the phone next to the KnowRoaming line, and most phones run both at once without you doing anything.

One thing to do before you fly: turn off data roaming on your home SIM, so your data goes through your plan and not through your home carrier's roaming rates.
