Check coverage before you buy, by destination

Every country we cover has its own page. It shows the plans, the networks your plan uses there, and where the signal thins out. For a trip through several countries, open the regional plan or the Global plan. Read its Where this eSIM works list against every stop on your route.

Steps

  1. Open the KnowRoaming app or knowroaming.com and search for the country.
  2. Open its page. The coverage section names the networks and says where the signal thins.
  3. Going through several countries? Open the regional plan for your route, or the Global plan.
  4. Tap Where this eSIM works and check every country on your route, trains included.
  5. If one stop isn't listed, add that country's own plan when you get there. It goes onto the same eSIM.

Good to know

  • The Global plan isn't every regional plan combined. A country in a regional plan isn't always in Global. Check the list; see Does a region plan cover every country in it?.
  • If a country doesn't show up in search, we don't offer it yet. See Destinations we don't currently cover.
  • The signal is strongest around cities, airports, and main routes. It thins in rural and remote areas, the same as at home. The country's page says where.
  • Your plan starts when you connect in a supported country, not when you buy. Your validity days count from that first connection. Unused data expires at the end of your validity period. It doesn't roll over.
