Check your data balance and usage in My plans
Your balance and days left are on the plan in My plans, in the app or on knowroaming.com, and they update as you use data. Turn on notifications and the app tells you when you're running low, so you can top up before you're cut off.
Steps
- Open the KnowRoaming app, or sign in on knowroaming.com.
- Go to My plans.
- Select your device, then the plan you're using.
- Read the data left and the days left. Unlimited plans show today's full-speed allowance instead.
- Running low? Tap Top up from the same screen.
Good to know
- Usage includes everything on the KnowRoaming line: apps, background refresh, and any hotspot or tethering.
- On a fixed plan, data stops at zero; a top-up brings it back. On an unlimited plan, speed drops after the daily allowance and the plan keeps going. See How unlimited plans work: 5 GB a day at full speed, then slower.
- Your phone's own usage counter counts differently and resets on its own schedule. The figure in My plans is the one your plan runs on.
- Your plan starts when you connect in a supported country, not when you buy. Your validity days count from that first connection. Unused data expires at the end of your validity period. It doesn't roll over.
