Promo code not working: what to check

A code that's refused, or that leaves the total unchanged, is almost always one of five things: a typo, an expired or used code, a plan the offer doesn't cover, Kreds already applied, or a partner voucher entered in the wrong place. Check them in order before you pay; a code can't be applied after the purchase.

Check first

Retype the code exactly as it was given: capitals, numbers, and no spaces. A zero and a capital O, or a one and a lowercase L, are the usual slips. Then tap Apply code again and watch the total.

Causes, in order

The code has expired or been used

Most codes have an end date and work once per account. Check the offer for the date; if you've used the code before, it won't apply again.

The offer doesn't cover this plan

Codes are often limited to certain destinations, plan types, or first purchases. The offer says which. Try the plan it names, or pay without the code.

Kreds are already applied

Promo codes and Kreds don't stack unless the offer says so. Remove the Kreds from the order, apply the code, and compare; keep whichever saves more. See How Kreds and referral credit apply to a purchase.

It's a partner voucher, not a promo code

A voucher from a partner brand, an insurer, or a card program is claimed on the partner's page, and the plan is issued from there, not at checkout. See Claim a partner benefit: Visa, mokafaa, Hollard, and vouchers.

You already paid

A code can't be added to an order after it's paid. If the code should have applied and didn't, message us with the code and the order number before you add the plan to your phone.

Still not working?

Message us on WhatsApp at +1-888-357-7347 with the code, the plan you're buying, the email on your account, and a screenshot of what checkout shows. We'll check the code from our side.
