Is there a network outage? How to check
If people around you on other networks have lost signal too, it's a local outage, and it clears on its own. If only you have, it's almost always a setting on your phone, not the network. Run eSIM not working: no data after landing first. If everything checks out, look at the country's page: it carries a service note when a network is down for more than a few hours.

We don't publish a live status page. We do publish a service note on a country's page when a partner network there is suspended or has a lasting fault. The note says what happens to an active plan: its days keep counting, so message us if a note affects your trip.
Before you assume an outage, check the usual causes in order. Airplane Mode off; the KnowRoaming line on, with data roaming on and selected for data; network selection set to automatic; and the APN where the country needs one. Then try another network by hand; see Switch networks manually when the automatic pick is weak. If a second network works, the first was the problem, not your plan.
