Which notifications we'll send, and when

Three groups, each with its own switch under Settings > Notifications in the app. Purchases covers anything with a charge or a refund. Account covers setup, data, and expiry warnings. Marketing is off unless you turn it on. Keep the first two on, so you're never cut off without warning.

Purchases sends:

  • a message when a purchase or top-up goes through
  • a message each time auto top-up runs, so no charge is a surprise
  • a message when a refund is on its way Your purchase receipt also arrives by email, with the QR code if you bought on the website.

Account sends:

  • a welcome when you sign up
  • a message when your plan is on your phone
  • a warning when your data is running low, and another when it runs out
  • a reminder before a plan expires
  • a note when you earn Kreds Marketing sends occasional nudges, such as a reminder about a plan you looked at, or local pricing when you land somewhere without a plan. These need your yes and stay off until you give it.

To change any of it, go to Settings > Notifications. There's a master switch, then a switch for each group. Turning off Marketing doesn't affect receipts, low-data warnings, or expiry reminders. Anything claiming to be from us that isn't on this list deserves the same suspicion as any unexpected message. We never ask for card details or passwords this way.
