The service works well even in rural and remote areas overseas. It also helped me securely connect to my South African apps, and I was able to talk to my family with clear voice quality as well. However, there is throttling after 2GB per 24 hours. This can be a bit of an issue — although they did mention it upfront. I hope they can improve this or offer a package with a higher throttling limit, such as around 10/20GB..etc.

As an EU resident traveling east via Istanbul, I had a great experience with this 1GB / 30-day eSIM. It worked flawlessly in Istanbul, giving me reliable internet access for maps, messages, and travel updates throughout my trip. Although it didn’t work back in the EU like some other travel eSIMs, it performed perfectly where I needed it most. Overall, a dependable option for travel through Istanbul and beyond.
