Turn on biometric login for the app

In the app, open Settings, then Login, and turn on Biometric login. From then on the app opens with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Android fingerprint, a lock on the KnowRoaming app itself, separate from your phone's lock screen, so your plans and payment details stay protected even when your phone is unlocked.

Steps

  1. Open the KnowRoaming app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Login.
  3. Turn on Biometric login, and confirm with your face or fingerprint when the phone asks.

Good to know

  • Turn it off the same way.
  • Biometric login unlocks the app; it doesn't replace your password or your Google or Apple sign-in, which you'll still need on a new phone. See Sign in with Google or Apple.
  • If your phone's face or fingerprint stops working, the app falls back to your normal sign-in.
